| FaceB4 Daily Cleansing Foam and After Cleansing Balm |
Am I the only person who used to think that spots and blemishes were just a teenage thing that you grow out of once you leave your teens and hit your twenties? I had a little acne as a teenager but nothing too drastic but now I’m well into my twenties (I’m 24 but shhh, don’t tell anyone!), my spot and blemish breakouts have actually seemed worse than ever before. I’m already beginning to see the first few fine lines beginning to appear on my face which I actually don’t mind at all, but still having ‘teenage’ spots and blemishes at the same time is just bizarre!
Given my ongoing skin complaints, I was really pleased to be given the opportunity to try and review some skincare from the FaceB4 brand recently. Their skincare range looked really impressive and seemed to have a lot of science behind it but with products like this which claim to do so many great things, the proof is always found in the actual testing rather than what it says on the box!
And I’m so pleased to say that these products from FaceB4 actually surpassed my expectations once I’d given them a thorough try out! #totesamazeballs!

| FaceB4 Daily Cleansing Foam and After Cleansing Serum |
The FaceB4 Daily Cleansing Foam (100 ml £14.95) and After Cleansing Balm (30 ml £14.95) is a daily facial cleansing, toning and moisturising system specifically designed for oily and combination skin types. It targets spot and blemish prone skin and is currently the most effective antibacterial face wash currently sold in the UK.
The daily cleansing foam cleanses and tones in one simple step leaving skin feeling perfectly cleansed without any uncomfortable tightness. The after cleansing balm gives skin all the vitamins and moisture it need whilst also fighting spots and blemishes.

| FACEB4 Daily Cleansing Foam
The FaceB4 Daily Cleansing Foam is a really unique face wash with a light and airy foam texture. Inside the bottle, it comes in two separate parts, a clear part and a light blue part. Then, as if my magic, the dual action nozzles mix these two parts together and the mixture gets pumped out ready to use as a delicate white foam.
To use this, simply massage one pump’s worth of product into wet skin and then leave it on for a minute (which is probably to give the antibacterial ingredients chance to do their thing killing off all of the excess and bad bacteria on your skin!) and then you rinse it off. Simples!
Although my skin isn’t overly sensitive anyway, I can say that using this product didn’t irritate, sting or dry it out in the slightest. It left my skin feeling totally clean and toned but not completely stripped of all moisture. |

| FACEB4 After Cleansing Serum |
The FaceB4 after cleansing serum is a rich and soothing moisturiser which is super gentle on the skin. It’s also fragrance free which makes it even better at preventing unnecessary skin irritation.
To use this, apply a very small amount to your skin after cleansing using the FaceB4 foam and gently massage it in. A little bit really does go a long way with this and if you have combination / oily skin, it’s usually a good idea to be quite sparing with your moisturiser anyway.
This serum leaves my skin feeling soothed and smoothed. It can be a tiny bit rich though as it’s a serum so when I apply it under my makeup during the day, I thoroughly massage it into my skin first and then allow it a good further 20 minutes to absorb into my skin. I then take one half of a two ply tissue and blot off any excess before applying my makeup on top.
I really like the Face B4 Cleansing Foam and After Cleansing Serum. I noticed it made a real difference to my skin pretty quickly which was great because I’ve heard a lot of people say that any change in skincare can take up to a few months to take effect.
Using FaceB4 twice daily (Morning and night) seems to significantly reduce the quantity, size and duration of any breakouts and it also seems to have improved the overall texture of my skin making it look smoother, brighter and my pores also seem to be smaller and less noticeable.
During the time that I have been testing this product, a familiar patter has developed. I use faceB4 and my skin has less spots, then I use something else other than FaceB4 and I get more spots, so I go back to using FaceB4 and it sorts out my spots again! So in my experience of using this product, it really does work. And I’m loving it!
