March 2013 Toiletries Empties

Hi Beauties,

Welcome to my March 2013 toiletries empties blog post!

ASDA Little Angels Fragranced Cotton Soft Baby Wipes (64 wipes) £0.87
I really like these ASDA Little Angels baby wipes for removing my makeup. They’re obviously not going to give the skin a really through cleanse but if you get the majority of your face makeup off with one of these you can then give your skin a deeper cleanse with a facial wash or cleanser of your choice afterwards. I always use a seperate eye makeup remover for eye makeup.
Tip: Store your makeup wipes upside down so the top ones stay nice and wet.
Would I repurchase: Yes, and I have done many times already!

ASDA Young Skin Eye Makeup Remover (150 ml) £1
This is a really effective but gentle eye makeup remover. It doesn’t sting or irritate my eyes and it removes my eye makeup quickly and easily. It’d also suitable for vegetarians and not tested on animals.
Tip: Apply some to a cotton pad and hold the pad on the eye for 30 seconds before gently wiping all over the eye area to remove any last traces of eye makeup.
Would I repurchase: Yes, and I have done many times already!

Superdrug Facial Wash for Sensitive Skin Fragrance Free (100 ml) £1
This is a really gentle facial wash which doesn’t irritate my eyes at all. It is very effective despite being so gentle. It removes any last traces of makeup and makes my skin feel squeaky clean. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Would I repurchase: Definitely, but I think it has recently been discontinued!

Boots No 7 Beautiful Skin Eye Makeup Remover (30 ml Sample Size) £8.50 per 100 ml.
This eye makeup remover is one of those quirky ones where you have to shake it before each use to mix it up because the formula is in two parts. Although this was a bit of a novelty at first, it soon gets tiresome. In between using this eye makeup remover, the formula separates within minutes, if not seconds, and needs shaking up again. It is also a very greasy formula which may be good for nourishing the skin and eye lashes, but it’s a bit too greasy for me. It did sting my eyes a little despite the claim that it is suitable for sensitive eyes and I think it also left them looking puffy. It did remove eye makeup effectively but there are other cheaper brands out there that can do a better job than this.
Would I repurchase: No. I like a lot of No 7 products but sadly this isn’t one of them.

Sanex Dermo Invisible 24 Hour Anti-Perspirant Deodorant 150 ml £1 – £2
This deodorant is formulated to be worn with darker clothing as it leaves only minimal white marks. It has a nice fragrance and works pretty well. It is gentle on skin as it contains 0% alcohol.
Would I repurchase: Yes, it it was on offer for around £1 I would repurchase.

Simple Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Roll On 50 ml £1 -£2
This is another good deodorant for sensitive skin because it contains 0% alcohol. The formula isn’t sticky and it’s pretty fast drying which is good because who wants to stand around with their arms in the air waiting for a deodorant to dry! This doesn’t contain any animal derived ingredients and is a very good roll on anti-perspirant deodorant.
Yes, and I have done several times already!

ASDA Moisture Shower Cream 250 ml £0.95
This is a really nice shower cream. It’s really moisturizing and it produces lots of bubbles and lather. It smells really lovely with a light rose scent. The formula is really thin and runny but it’s still surprisingly luxurious. It’s also suitable for vegetarians.

Avon Far Away Body Spray.

Bristows Silver Shampoo and Bristows Silver Conditioner 200 ml £1 each
These were the first ever silver shampoos and conditioners I ever tried on my blonde hair and I really like them. They contain a purple pigment which helps to boost the vibrancy of blonde hair and neutralize any brassy or orange/yellow tones. They work much like a toner but in a watered down form suitable for everyday use. For the price, I really like this shampoo and conditioner. They’re quite moisturizing and the do leave your blonde hair looking and feeling healthy.
Yes, and I have done once already.

Sensodyne Pro Namel Daily Toothpaste and Mouthwash £4 each
This toothpaste and mouthwash are very good but they are quite expensive. They do reduce any tooth sensitivity and are supposed to protect teeth against acid erosion which i’m sure they do very well. The only problem is, they’re expensive. If they can be purchased on offer, they’re worth stocking up on. The toothpaste doesn’t seem to foam very well but the mouthwash does actually foam up a lot which is quite strange.
Yes, I have done but only when on offer. This is too expensive for me to use all the time.

Well, that’s it for my March 2013 empties. Thank for popping by my blog, please feel free to comment, follow and visit again! Have a lovely day where ever you are and whatever you are doing!
