So, onto the questions!
For Autumn, what is your favourite…
1). Favourite thing about it? I love that cosy feeling of being tucked up under a warm duvet at home with a hot water bottle as the nights get colder and darker outside. I like eating warming winter foods such as hot soup and who doesn’t love a hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream before bed?! I also enjoy getting all wrapped up in several layers of comfy and cosy clothes before venturing outdoors!
2). Favourite Drink? A hot chocolate or Irish coffee! But I’m a big tea and coffee drinker all year round too!
3). Favourite Scent/candle? As I’m currently all stuffed up with a massive cold, just to be able to smell again at all would be wonderful! I do love anything from Yankee Candle as the scents are always beautiful! They’re a little bit pricey though, so I definitely consider their candles to be a bit of a treat and save using them for special occasions!
4). Best Lipstick? Well, it’s not a lipstick as such, but I really love the MUA Out There plumping lip gloss in the shade Buff. It’s such a great nude colour that’s really flattering and perfect for this time of year. I also think that a classic red lip is perfect for Autumn/Winter so something like Mac’s Russian Red, which is a lovely blue toned matt red lipstick, would be perfect for when a bolder lip colour is required!
5). Go to moisturiser? The Organics Surge Blissful Daily Moisturiser in the daytime and the Organic Surge Super Intensive Daily Moisturiser at night.
6). Go to colour for the eyes? My essence metallic effect eye shadow in the shade party all night. It’s a really lovely shimmery brown / taupe shade with hints of gold and bronze. It’s so wearable and gives a really polished look with minimal effort.
7). Favourite band or singer to listen to? Ooh, this is a difficult one! I really love The Corrs but they are largely inactive these days so I’m probably most often found listening to classical music or the likes of Vanessa Mae!
8) Favourite outfit to wear? Anything warm and snugly! But I do have a little confession to make: I am one of those people who wears those cheap imitation UGG boots that always get worn out on one side and make you walk funny! #classybird
9). Autumn Treat? Ooh, where to start is the question! First of all, scarves, hats and gloves are necessary purchases! Then a nice new bag and some boots! Then some warm woolly knits! And some more cosy socks and a new fleece dressing gown / PJs are also a must!
10). Favourite place to be? I’m a bit of a home body at the best of times and during Autumn / Winter, I practically go into hibernation mode! I love to be snuggled up next to my boyfriend watching something good on catchup TV or I’ll be chilling out under a duvet catching up on reading some lovely beauty blogs and watching some beauty YouTube videos!
