This year’s Yankee Candle Holiday Sparkle Christmas Collection includes a big range of candles, accessories and gift sets.

There’s also the usual fold-out Advent Calendar as well as the smaller wreath tea light Advent Calendar that we have come to expect from Yankee.

New for 2018 is another huge Advent Calendar. In fact, this is Yankee’s largest one ever and it’s even called the ‘Tower’; doesn’t that just sound incredible?!

All of this is exciting stuff but no doubt the main draw of this year’s festive releases are the four brand new Christmas fragrances that form the central part of the ‘Holiday Sparkle’ collection.

New for 2018: Yankee Candle Holiday Sparkle Christmas Collection 

The Yankee Candle Holiday Sparkle Christmas Collection is inspired by that brief yet magical time of day when the sun sets in the sky. It’s known as the ‘golden hour’ in the film industry because everything looks beautifully golden and this creates a lovely warm toned aesthetic; almost like an Instagram filter for real life!

There are four brand new Christmas fragrances for 2018 which are: Winter Wonder, Frosty Gingerbread, Glittering Star and Icy Blue Spruce.

• WINTER WONDER

A dazzling winter mix of champagne and citrus, vanilla and silver balsam.

Top: Frozen Lemon, Frost Air

Mid: Champagne Accord, Silver Balsam

Base: Vanilla, Sheer Musk

*Top note is the initial impression of the fragrance, middle note is the main body of the scent and base is its final impression.

A shimmering fragrance that gives sandalwood a sparkle with sugar plum and ginger.

• ICY BLUE SPRUCE

A fresh breath of winter forest, juniper berries, blue spruce and spearmint leaves.

These are all available in small, medium and large jar candles as well as votives and tea lights. If melting wax is more your thing, you can get all of these fragrances in wax melts and Scenterpiece Easy MeltCups too.

This is the toned-down, regular Yankee Candle Advent Calendar that we’re all a little bit more used to seeing. It’s less than half the price of the Tower and makes £34.99 seem very reasonable by comparison! Still a tad expensive though. Wonder if they’ll be any left in the sales? I think these things have sold out in previous years so maybe it’s best to not risk waiting of you have your heart set on it for either yourself or a loved one. I think I’ll wait and see if there are any good sales and deals for this later on.
