Christmas Blog Post Ideas Part 3 - Self Care at Christmas
Christmas Blog Post Ideas Part 3 – Self Care at Christmas

Self-Care at Christmas

This is a really important topic and it can cover a huge range of blog posts featuring anything from useful self-care advice to matters concerning mental health and well-being. These issues are important all year round and they can become even more vital at Christmas because it can be such a difficult time of year for all of us at times.

You could create a self-care themed gift guide post, full of helpful products made for feeling better. Or how about sharing a step by step guide all about how to have a self-care day or evening?

Christmas Blog Post Ideas - Budgeting for Christmas

Budgeting for Christmas

I think most of us tend to get caught up in the panic buying and last minute shopping rush right before Christmas. It’s easy to forget how much money we can realistically afford to spend, especially when we have credit cards and store credit available to use.

If you’re a dab hand at managing your Christmas expenditure, why not share some of your tips and advice with others who can benefit from your knowledge?

This is a great topic for any Blogger to cover, even it is outside of your usual niche. It’s likely to be quite a well-received topic so make sure you share your content on social media so more people can find it.

Christmas Food for Vegetarians, Vegans, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, etc.

So many people have various special dietary requirements and preferences that need to be catered for at Christmas. Why not write a post about anything you are knowledgeable about? Maybe you have some great insights because you’re a vegetarian or your partner is lactose intolerant, for example.

Blog posts about these topics can really help others who need to in figure out how best to cater for somebody with special dietary requirements at Christmas.

Maybe you could share some of your favourite food bloggers and blogs? There are a lot of different angles that you could approach this topic from and I’m sure there are a lot of ways to make a great blog post on one of these topics and best of all, it’s got the potential to be super helpful and educational to lots of people.

Christmas Blog Post Ideas - Festive Cooking, Baking and Recipes

Christmas Cooking, Baking and Recipes

This could be taken from a special dietary requirements angle, like gluten-free, or it could be inclusive of any standard recipes and ingredients.

With amazing baking television shows like GBBO, I think that the demand for Christmas baking inspiration, recipes and how to’s will be high and many people will look to bloggers for helpful guides.

Honestly, just share your lovely Festive baking and cooking content until your heart’s content because these are always such nice posts to create, share and read.

This is a really cool blogging area that you could have a lot of fun creating content for. This is an especially good subject if you’re a bit if a baker, cook or general foodie and of course it’s ideal for lifestyle and food bloggers. Good visual content and photography are useful assets for this topic.

Christmas Blog Post Ideas - Christmas Cocktails, Beverages and Soft Drinks

Christmas Cocktails, Beverages and Soft Drinks

It’s almost a blogging cliche to be seen holding a lovely Christmas beverage from a popular Coffee shop. But why not go deeper and try reviewing Costa or Starbucks Christmas drinks?

You could even share recipes for festive cocktails and mocktails. Maybe a healthy Christmas themed smoothie is more your thing?

If all else fails, just take some pretty photos of some nice looking hot drinks in cute cups, with pretty nails and pretty knitted jumpers. Throw in a few festive props and mention a chai latte or pumpkin spice latte and you’re bound to be on to a winner! Out with the flat white coffee and in with the fancy frappuccino flat-lay! This is sure to be Pinterest perfection and Winter blog aesthetics at their best!

Christmas Blog Post Ideas - Keeping Safe & Staying Well Over Christmas

Keeping Safe & Staying Well Over Christmas

This topic is a little bit similar to self-care at Christmas but I see this blog post idea as more of a practical self-help style guide for things like coughs and colds, food hygiene, minor cuts and burns as well as stress management, insomnia and fatigue. Advice for indigestion and hangovers is probably relevant here too.

Most of us bloggers aren’t doctors as well but if we know of some useful hacks or handy tips that have helped us in the past, maybe we have a bit of good advice to pass along to our audience. If you know of something that might be helpful to others, why not share it with the world in a blog post?

Christmas Favourites: Everything You Love The Most About The Festive Season!

This is completely personal and unique to you! Simply talk about everything you like the most about Christmas. If you want to be balanced, you could even reveal some of the things you like least about Christmas.

You can even spice things up a bit if you have an unpopular opinion about any part of Christmas, why not consider sharing it? Or you could simply present a question and seek your reader’s thoughts on the matter. Perhaps if you welcome opinions from your readers, you may be lucky enough to play host to some lively discussions taking place in your blog comments! For example, you could ask something along the lines of ‘is telling your children that Santa Claus exists tantamount to lying?’ Pretty contentious stuff, eh!?

This is the end of my ‘Christmas Blog Post Ideas’ Miniseries!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and I hope you’ve enjoyed the third and final part of my three-part Christmas Blog Post Ideas miniseries!

    1. Hi Nancy! So glad you liked these Christmas blog post ideas! I hope things slow down a little for you soon so that you can enjoy this yuletide season. Making time for self-care is so important all year round and I think most of us have a soft spot for Christmassy beverages! Hanna x

  6. Hi Hanna.
Reading this post has given me a lot of inspiration for my blogmas posts. I was struggling on what to write but there is a lot that I didn’t even think of using for posts. Creating a self care post especially at Christmas is a brilliant idea as lots of people will be stressing with present buying etc and creating posts about foods for vegans and vegetarians is brilliant too. I’ve been trying more of a mixture of vegan and vegetarian foods so this will be something I’ll have to blog about especially if it’s think to eat at Christmas.
Thank you so much for this post and all the ideas. I will certainly be using them and taking inspiration from them to create new content.

Also, 100% agree with you on writing posts for people with alternative diets! ☺️ This was one thing already on my list, because I’m Gluten-Free, so it can be such a struggle to make food that I can eat that tastes good enough for others to still enjoy.

    Happy Blogging! 💜
